How to Dominate Your Market:

1-Be laser focused on what you can profitably produce. Remove everything else.

2-Know your customer. How to market to them. How to buy for them.

3-Streamline everything to be the most efficient business possible.

I ask a lot of questions, and when I get a response like, "We've always done it that way," I know where to start on improvement.

I have an innate ability to see solutions to problems, usually faster than anyone else. It’s a skill that I was born with. Just like Elon Musk suffers from ADHD, I probably have that too, and most likely, you will be surprised at what I recommend from even a short time in your plant or office. I may not know all the technicalities of your computer programs, electrical systems, machinery, and production lines, but it won’t take me long to figure out a possible answer.

Also, dealing with people in a business is always interesting.

Having family members in a business can either be your greatest asset or your worst nightmare. Sometimes, if you want the company to survive, hard decisions that may take years to repair family relationships must be made. But I know what that is like, too, as I had to “retire” my father early. It’s one thing to deal with problems with sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, etc., in business, but your own father? That is extremely difficult.

Tyrants in Business will someday profoundly regret their actions

I’ve also found that some owners have let success go to their heads, and they have become monsters who are overly demanding and downright irrational. I’m not a big fan of Unions in business, but history has shown that some people use their status and power to rule as tyrants that treat their employees like chattel. In some cases, unions have sprung up to protect employees from such dictatorial brutality.

If you are like one of these “Kings” you probably won’t sign up in the form below as I will call you out. If you have millions of dollars while your employees are barely scraping by, we must address that.


Your response to that last line will say a lot about you and whether we can work together.

Speaking of Unions, in many cases, they have become worse than the owners they replaced and have prevented growth in the business, forcing many companies to go overseas for profitability. We won’t solve this deep subject here, but I’m aware of some of the issues that must be addressed.

Additionally, you may need someone to call you out. Many famous Rock Stars, Movie idols, and others who are rich and famous have gone off the deep end because no one would tell them that their actions are stupid and self-destructive. You may need someone to set you straight. I’m not a “Yes man” and will say something if I see things going wrong.

Fire me if you want to but maybe I’m the person you need to help get you back on track because I can guarantee that if that attitude is in your life right now, many additional problems you don’t know about are happening, and your company may not survive. Your marriage and the relationships with children and other family members are not in good shape.
